Analog Ambassador... Me?

That's me.

I never really like taking pictures of myself, I don't want people taking pictures of me either. I always thought that people taking a picture of themselves are vain. But why did I shoot this?

Who could not love the Holga 135BC in my hands? I'm a newbie in lomography and I am still learning about it through the internet and with the help of my newfound online friends. So, honestly, I am not the right person to ask about the technicalities of lomography and cameras.

So why me as an Analog Ambassador? Well, maybe because I want to explore analogue more. And share a bit of the Philippines (my own experiences in my beloved country). I may not be a photographer who captures timeless pictures, or traveler who could share about his journey around the world... But I could be just the simple person, who could share interesting day to day life experiences through the eyes of my Holga.

I already thought a name of my blog by the way (just in case you pick me): The everyday journey of a Pre-school teacher with an analogue camera in her hands

Lomo LOCO!

I CAN'T wait for my lomo cameras!

Been looking at the pics online and studying them for almost 3 months already! I can't even remember how I got into Lomo.

So I'm planning to buy a Holga 135BC first. Notice the word "first"? Yeah, I plan on collecting them! But just the plastics only, because the other more complicated lomos are a bit expensive and I don't think my hubby would allow it.

So I am planning to buy the Holga 135BC first, with flash. Then buy some lenses for it, which is just a less than Php1,000. And that is still good for my budget.

Then this Vivatar camera which shoots in wide angles. I don't know if the GIF is working.

And then maybe a few plastic cameras like these:

And this one, ther Frog-eye, is a must in summer!

And who could not want these??

Aw. I love lomo.
